The Sangh Shiksha Varg (SSV2019) was held in Kisumu, from 10 August to 18 August, 2019. 56 Swayamsevaks and 31 Sevikas got together in a Gurukul like environment, for 9 Days, to train further in Sangh Activities over the SSV.
From Day 1 all the Shiksharthis were very serious and paid full attention to grab all knowledge taught to them. The Sharirik focus was on Samata and Yogasana. The Bauddhik was focused on personal skills and character building.
The Shiksharthis were treated to very delicious meals, cooked by the Mothers of Kisumu Sevikas and Swayamsevaks. All ate very well and the food was healthy too, resulting in all children staying fit throughout the endeavour and not falling ill.
The Boat Ride over the Lake Victoria was thoroughly enjoyed by All.
Matru Bhojan involved 33 Hindu Families of Kisumu. They brought luxurious food for the Shiksharthis and mingled very well with all.
On Raksha Bandhan Day, 15 Aug, the Ssks did a Sampark Abhyan, by visiting Hindu Homes in Kisumu and tying Rakhi to the Elder of the Home. This exercise found the Youngsters learning and implementing Communicating Skills. The Public very much appreciated this Noble gesture of Tying Rakhi.
The Proudh Shibir was also held together over the last weekend.
Overall it was a very successful Varg, with the right numbers of Shiksharthis. The First Time Shikshaks did an excellent Job managing the whole Varg. The Sevikas too endeavoured with Smiles the whole week, as this was the first time they had a full week Varg.
Exhausted after the gruelling week, The Shiksharthis returned Home on Sunday 18, rejuvenated with enthusiasm to take the Sangh Work ahead in their respective Shakhas
